What's your average ping?
Simple question. If you'd like to post your location/ISP as well that would be great.
I just wanted to get an idea (and perhaps provide others) with an idea of how competitive their interruption/infuses could be, and whether or not they should just give up =P. (This comes after i noticed in RA, how much of a difference 100 ping makes, 200ping =interrupt 1 sec, 300= , whilst playing Pd).
ps, Poll would be GREAT.
eg: whats your average latency?
0-50ms
50-100ms etc etc.
edit: summary- (This data is very subjective, and the following is just an interpretation. if you feel you want to express a different interpretation, pm me?)
lowwest 5 - 15 = Nevin
Highest...hard to say, due to lag spikes but the competitors are:
700 - 1.4k on from satellite
1k-4k from unidentified college computers
and 15k -20k in the uk oO.
mean? ~ 200-500?
Seems aussies range between 100 and 600
Europeans, 50 - 350 (although horace has had 20ms pings before)
Americans, not enough data =/

200-600 some days are better than others, and some maps too.
I've had more than a few AB matches with a ping rate of 800 for the duration.

Welcome to the wonderful world of satellite internet ! I sure wish there was another option out here, besides dial up (though for things like this, dial up would actually run faster).
